Content Management System
The use of a Content Management System can be a cost effective method for clients who require constant updates to their website.
Why pay a web design company for updates and minor changes to your website, when you can update your site content yourself? You don't have to wait for your web design company; you can make the changes within minutes!
Content Management gives you full control over your website. You'll be able to add elements to your site, add topical news, remove out of date information, add pictures. It can be used on one or two page websites, or multiple page sites with no problem, as and when required.
If you choose to include our website content management solution in your website design package, we'll provide you with a copy of Adobe® Contribute® CS3, which enables anyone to easily update and publish content to existing websites in minutes, without knowing HTML.
So easy anyone can use it.
Adobe Contribute™ is both a web browser and editor in one. Use the Contribute browser to view websites just as you would any other web browser. When used as an editor, Contribute™ enables you to easily update content.
Quickly update text and images, add new pages, and publish content to any existing HTML website as easily as browsing to a web page or typing a letter. Step-by-step instructions guide you through the entire process, which will take you about 10 minutes to learn.
Pages can be saved in a preview mode until they are ready to be published to your live website. Consequently changes can be made without adversely affecting the website and can be checked and edited before publication. This can even be configured so that altered pages must be approved by your web designer before publication.
And the optional new PayPal Merchant Tools let any small business owner accept credit cards online before you can say ‘e-commerce’ by simply adding a payment button to their pages.
Works with Your Favourite Software
With the Adobe® Contribute® CS3 content management system, you can quickly link any document to your website and edit it later, including those created in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Safe
The content of your web pages is kept safe by
controlling who gets to edit which sections
of a website and what changes they can
make. You can also recover
previous saved web pages with a single
click using page history. Your website
administrator will automatically connect
contributors by e-mail, using encrypted connection keys.
