Yes. We can install your website into the webspace provided by the hosting company or, if the company do not provide hosting, transfer your existing domain name to a suitable hosting company for FREE.

How can I promote my site?
FreshWebz offer different Internet Promotion methods depending on the market you are in and your budget. What works with one business may not necessarily be effective with yours. Naturally, we will ensure that your website appears as high as possible in the search engines, although this is an ongoing process and we cannot guarantee overnight success. In a saturated market with thousands of competitors, it may be beneficial for you to consider paid schemes, which guarantee quicker inclusion and higher placement. There are a number of other marketing techniques that may be of more benefit. They can be discussed with you at any time during the development process.

How can I get the site updated?
If you buy a website package from us, you will get an inclusive monthly allowance for minor updates and alterations to your site. You can also ask us to do additional updates for you at reasonable cost. However, for extra freedom to make changes to your pages when you want, you should consider a Content Management System, or dynamic website. For more information, please contact us.

Can I update the website myself?
Content Management gives you full control over your website. You will be able to add elements to your site, add topical news, remove out of date information, add new pictures, even photo galleries. It can be used on one or two page websites, or multiple page sites with no problem, as and when required. This is a more cost effective method to keep your website up-to-date and edit your site as and when you need to. I already have a website - why do I need to change anything?
You may want to consider a complete redesign of your site if it is out of date, your colours and/or logo have changed, or you just want a new look. Often a website has not been successful in achieving good listings on search engines, or has not been attracting relevant customers and this can be due to a number of different reasons. If you feel that your website is not getting the results you want, call us for a free review and we will advise whether we can help.

How long will it take for my website to appear on the Internet?
Depending on the size and complexity of a site the design and build time will usually be between two and eight weeks, provided that all material is submitted promptly and in digital form. Part payment is required in advance on larger websites. On small sites we do not usually request payment until the design is approved. Our payment terms are strictly 28 days.

How long after you have finished the site, will it take to turn up in the search engines?
No company can guarantee any listing positions on the Search Engines. However, we monitor your position and take necessary action to try and improve if required. Initially it can take at least four weeks to appear on the smaller Search Engines and around 6-8 weeks to appear on the larger ones such as Google, Yahoo and MSN. Paid inclusion will be faster and can be discussed should you wish to use one of these programmes.

Do you do Flash pages?
We believe that flashy animation and too much movement on a screen can be distracting and irritating to the user, not to mention occasionally confusing when used for navigation. There are also other issues, such as search engine 'friendliness', accessibility and so on. Used sparingly however, it can be very effective as a highlighting tool, or to create additional interest. Previously limited and simplified, animation can now be widely used to capture the attention of visitors. If your taste is for a visually exciting website with flash animations and three dimensional graphics then these can be designed and included into your website.

How do you want to receive the photographs/graphics for my website?
We will normally expect your logos, graphics and photographs to be supplied to us when we start designing your site. These should be in one of the most widely used formats: jpg, gif, png, bmp, psd. We will also need your content - the text that will fill your pages. This is a very important part of your site as it is the information that will interest your customers and just as importantly the search engines! You can supply this as a Word document, text file, or even in an e-mail.
