After we've completed your SEO Website Audit you can either take action yourself, pass the report to your web designer, or you can employ us to address the issues that have been identified.
In-Depth Back-link Analysis
In the majority of cases we find that a drop in ranking has been a result of bad or unethical links which point to a page on your website. Using various industry leading link analysis tools, we discover and create a full list of all back-links pointing to your site and then split them into good and bad ones.
Bad Link Removal
It is very important that any bad links pointing to your website are removed and the best way is to physically get them taken down. This means contacting the owner of the site where they are located and asking for them to be taken down. It's quite possible that these sites/domains will actually have multiple links pointing to you, so this could actually result in removing thousands of bad links.
Once we have contacted all the sites we give them a week and then check to see which sites have actually removed them. If the sites are old, or no longer administered (such as many old directory sites) then we have to "disavow" them using the Google Disavow Tool that tells Google to ignore them when calculating your search position.
The success and time-scale of the disavow process having an effect will vary from site to site and Google state it is to be used only as a last resort if you have been unable to remove the links manually.
